The shrinking of the Aral Sea

The shrinking of the Aral Sea

The shrinking of the Aral Sea has been caused because of irrigation over the course of 30 years has caused the Aral Sea to shrink from being full to now being empty and dry.

The Aral sea is located in kazakhastan and uzbekistan and its east to the Caspian sea.

Tornadoes

The areas mostly effected is the great plains. Its nickname is the Tornado Alley. They're are other places effected to. Like these places to the right. --->

Tornadoes are terrifying swirling funnels that rip through and destroy anything and almost everything in its path. They come around every year and destroy houses and effect any ones life that has witnessed one. Humans cant stop them and really cant or don't have anything to start them. All we can do is get to shelter or get away from them.

Desertification

Desertification is where there's so much sand that when the wind blows it blows the sand across the desert and starts expanding and any grassland is in the way turns into desert.

The Ring Of Fire

The Ring Of Fire is a ring of volcanoes that're active today and its in a circle around the pacific ocean.

The Ring Of Fire isn't really effected by humans but the volcanoes definitely have an effect on some of us and where we live as these volcanoes are still active and some pose a threat to where we live if one erupts.
