  The head of the Executive branch: President  (Joachin Gauck ) and Chancellor ( Angela Merkel )

  How did these people come to power: They were elected just like in the US. These people will stay in power for 5 years (President) and 4 years (Chanecellor). If Germany would like to change their leader, after 5 years, they can hold an election and vote for a new president.

 


Legislative Branch

The members of this branch are chosen by the government. These people must pass the state level to become apart of this branch. On September 22, is the day that they choose there representatives. The name of the branch is Parliament. The way they pass laws is very similar to the way we pass our laws. The members of Parliament are entitled to introduce new or revised pieces of legislation as bills. Then they are debated, deliberated and voted on. 

Judicial Branch

Another name for the Judicial Branch is the Federal Court of Justice. They members are chosen by the Judges Election Committee.

 Consent of the Governed

 Rights of the Minority

In Germany they have many of the same limits. They have a constitution that means that they have 1 of the 5 limits. They also have Rule of Law and Separation of powers because they have a legislative branch and a Judicial Branch. Both branches have equal power.

Normally North African people have been Migrating to Germany to find better life, but German officials have seen less people coming into Germany. They have been letting they African people stay in Germany because they have not been a threat to the country.  Some people are wanting to call North Africa a "Safe Country" but the government wants to wait and see if the crime percentage goes up before the "Safe Country" designation.

Head of the Executive Branch: President ( Tran Dai ) and the Prime Minister ( Nguyen Tan Dung ). These people have been elected by indirect elections. Indirect elections are not fair. They take away the opportunists of people voting for the people they want. The President will remain in power for 5 years and the Prime Minister will stay in power for 

Legislative Branch

The name of the Legislative Branch is The National Assembly. The members of this branch are chosen by the chief of elections. To pass laws they have to examine the bill, make changes and submits it to the Standing Committee. 

Judicial Branch 

The Judicial branch in Vietnam is called Supreme People's Court. They are elected by the National Assembly.

Do not exist in Vietnam. 


Prime minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has been formally voted by Parliament. He had already been picked to succeed outgoing leader Nguyen Tan Dung at a Communist Party in January. He now governs the country with a Communist Party general. He has pledged to protect the country and improve the business climate.
