water polo originated in England in 1928 This involved teammates passing the ball over the water to one another without ever letting it touch the surface and they must get the ball into the goal .A water polo game consists of 4 quarters, each quarter being 8 minutes in length with 2-minute in between quarters it usually takes 7 people on a team ,6 in the pool and one goal keeper  

he referees whistle two different kinds of fouls  minor (regular) fouls and major (personal) fouls. 

  • you can only touch the ball with hand 
  • Only the goalie can use two hands when he is within 5 yards  of his own goal
  • and much more
