HiVE

What is HiVE?

HiVE is a consultation with a focus on building ideas within groups and organisations.

The Problem

There are way too many ideas but very little delivery. Ideas generally tend to start off too big or too vague, therefore the delivery is often non-existent or inefficient. There are also many problems which can be solved by critical thinking and communication.

The Solution

Consulting that streamlines an idea using creativity and problem solving. HiVE will help highlight opportunities through brainstorming, helping groups dialogue and create actionable plans.

The Bee is Crucial to Life

Bees are like ideas; without them, we can't hope to survive. Ideas are important for development, and with the correct guidance they can bring about great change.

  • Bees are the only insect in the world that make food that people can eat
  • A bee’s wings beat 190 times a second, that’s 11,400 times a minute!
  • A third of all the plants we eat have been pollinated by bees
  • Many plants rely on insects like bees in order to be pollinated; which is why they provide nectar to say thanks
  • Their wings technically shouldn't hold their weight... but they do for some reason

The Workshop

The HiVE workshops will focus on solving problems within a set group. This could be a business, community, even friends and family.

Each session will have a specific theme that relates to the participants.

Example: The group could be a charity, and the theme could be "raising awareness".

The Workshop

Expand: The participants will have to think of as many problems as possible sorrounding the theme.

Example: The group could be a charity, and the theme could be "raising awareness".

The Workshop

Focus: Depending on the size of the people attending, they will be split into groups in order to choose a problem or two, and come up with as many solutions as possible.

Example: The group could be a charity, and the theme could be "raising awareness".

The Workshop

Expand: They will then be asked to choose a solution, and come up with an elevator pitch as to why they've chosen it. They will then present to a panel and the rest of the group, who will ask critical questions about it.

Example: The group could be a charity, and the theme could be "raising awareness".

The Workshop

Focus: Everyone will be able to vote on the solution that they think works best (except their own). This way the panel will have a clear visual as to what is the most actionable solution. It will then be up to them to deliver.

Example: The group could be a charity, and the theme could be "raising awareness".
