Squash originated in Harrow school. It made its way to Singapore. The sport is played by two people or four people inside with a racket and a ball. Some rules of the game is that each player has 20 minutes to warm up. Also if a player tries to hit the ball before reaching the front wall the play will stop. There are up up to 2-4 people that can play the game at once. The length of the game is usually 10 minutes.
In squash the way you can score a point is by missing the ball when it comes to you. The field dimensions are inside on a court that is kind of like racket ball but squash. One of the basic strategy's for squash is the T. The T refers to where the half court and the short line on the ground meet.
Some of the major penalties of the game are if you hit another person with the ball or a racket then you are out of the game. Some of the equipment are a racket, a ball, and protective glasses. Yes there is minor leagues and armature leagues and pro leagues for the game squash. Yes squash has changed a lot over the years.
