Cricket in Great Britan
The time we know with text it started in time is 17 January 1597. It started in Great Britain. It st arted to move out in 1788. It went all over the world.
There is 2 sides one is batting while one fields and bowls. The batting side has a runner and a batter. The runner trys to school as many runs he can. The Fielders and the bowler trys to get out the runner. The runner can run as much he can. There has to be 2 people that is not out that inning. The inning ends when everyone but 1 is out or a team won by a lot higher schools then other team. After 4 innings the game ends.
Test matches take 4-5 days. limited takes 4-5 hours. Test has 4 innings. Limited Cricket has 2 innings.
To score a run you have to run to the pitch and then to the crest and you can keep trying to get more points. As long you not out you can keep running. More the points the better. You can even win for having many points.
A game lasts 4 innings. Each team bats 2 times and bowls 2 times. After 4 innings who ever has the most runs wins.
A major Penalties is Illegally change the ball condition of the ball. another major penalties is a fielder touches the ball without the Umpire permission. If you hit the ball on a helmet while its not on a head so you get a penalties. If the fielding team blocks the batter you get a penalties
They use a cricket only bat and ball. they use wickets that look like stumps and bails. They use various protective equipment.
There is a international competition. It happened in the Olympic Games once. There is a world cup.
The field size stayed the same over the time. The numbers of ball bowled in till switch started at 4 went up to 5 then 6 gone up to 8 then went down to 6. The equipment didnt change at all.
