Cause: New settlements, Cattle ranching, and farming.
Effect: Loss of species, destruction of the natives' homes, and loss of clean oxygen.

Effect:Loss of habitat for species and harm in the fishing industry.
Cause:location and carbon dioxide from cars.
Effect: people who live there are more likely to get lung cancer and heart disease.
Solution:create more laws about illegal logging and enforce the ones they already have.
Solution:regulate the factories that produce oil more often.
Solution:invest in public transportation,recycle, and limit the days that you can drive cars.

a. Montezuma ll was the leader of the Aztecs, an ancient civilization in Latin America
b. Atahualpa is the leader of the Incas, they are also an ancient civilization in Latin America.
c. Hernan Cortes was a Spanish conquistador who caused the fall of the Aztec empire on August 13, 1521.
d.Francisco Pizarro was a Spanish conquistador who caused the fall if the Inca empire in 1533.
2. Cause: Sugarcane farming, and the growing need of workers.
Effect: Most people in Latin America have ancestors who were once slaves. Many places in Latin America for example the Caribbean are rich with African culture.
Independence Movement of Latin America
a. Toussaint L'Ouverture was a slave who freed Haiti from the French in 1804 and was dictator for life.
b. Simon Bolivar was a military leader he fought to free many countries in Latin America such as Venezuela. He had Bolivia named after him.
c. Miguel Hidalgo was catholic priest who wanted to free slaves and give land to Mexican farmers. He also wanted to stop Spain from taxing Mexico.
2. Cause: angry citizens because Cuba experiences massive widespread poverty because Batista put all the country's resources into providing holidays for the rich Americans he did business with.
Effect the united states does not trade with Cuba. Cuba is communist. Citizen of Cuba have very limited freedoms.
3. Cause: NAFTA
Effect: the poor got more help and assistance from the government.

Presiential Demcracy: The three Branches are seprate. The citizen elect the president/leader. Citizen also elect the legislative branch

The legislative branch is elected by the citizens who then elect the leader.

3.The climate of Brazil and Cuba are tropical but Brazil is also arid. The location of Brazil is closer to the equator than the location of Cuba. The population of Brazil is 209,363,235. The population of Cuba is 11,392,495. Brazil has nearly 20 times the amount of people in Cuba. The #1 natural resource of Brazil is coffee beans. The #1 natural resource of Cuba is sugarcane.
4.Most people in Mexico,Venezuela,Cuba, and Brazil live in urban areas or cities because of the job opportunities. Most people also live in cities that are built in places with a mild climate.
