Badminton in Indonesia
The sport of badminton dates back to at least 2,000 years to the game of battledore and shutter cock played in Greece, China and India. The sport is played by either two opposing players(one on one) or by opposing pairs(two on two). Like tennis each player takes position on opposite halves of a rectangular court that is divided by a net. To score points you must strike the shutter cock with the racket so that it passes over the net and lands on the opposing side"s half of the court. All that is used for equipment is your jersey, a racket and a shuttle cock. To keep things easy scoring goes by one for each point scored. In the game you can not, deliberately cause delay in, or suspension of, play; deliberately modify or damage the shuttle in order to change its speed or its flight; behave in an offensive manner; or be guilty of misconduct not otherwise covered by the Laws of Badminton.
