Polo is Argentina's official sport. This sport was originated in Persia. This was made in the 6th century B.C. and to the first century A.D.

This sport is played by team member's on the back of horse's. They play outside in a grass field that is 300 yards long and 160 yards wide. The goal is to hit the ball between the goal posts that are 8 feet apart. They have clubs and they have to hit the ball in the goal.

When one team gets a foul the other team usually gets a penalty hit. This happens by when a person crosses the line. This hit can be deafened or a free hit depending on the foul.
