Size and rotation
The mass of venus is 4.867 × 10^24 kg. Venus is called Earth's twin because Venus and Earth are almost the same size and have about the same mass (they weigh about the same), and have a very similar composition. It takes it 224.7 Earth days to make a complete orbit around the sun. It takes venus 243 days to make a complete rotation.
Atmosphere and temperature
It has the densest atmosphere of the four terrestrial planets, consisting of more than 96% carbon dioxide. The atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is 92 times stronger than Earth's. Venus is by far the hottest planet in the Solar System, with a surface temperature of 735 K (462 °C; 863 °F), even though Mercury is closer to the Sun Venus is still the hottest.
Venus has no moons or natural satilites

Why i chose Venus
I chose Venus because last year i did Neptune ,so i wanted to do something different. Venus is also our twin planet and its really cool.⭐️
On December 15, 1970 an unmanned Soviet spacecraft, Venera 7, became the first spacecraft to land on another planet. It measured the temperature of the atmosphere on Venus.

Venera 8 and 9
In 1972, Venera 8 gathered atmospheric and surface data for 50 minutes after landing. On Oct. 22, 1975, Venera 9 landed on the surface of Venus. It took the first close-up photograph of the planet's surface.
Three days later Venera 10 landed on Venus. Venera 10 took photographs of its surface and studied its rocks
Named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty.
Venus is the second largest terrestrial planet and is sometimes referred to as the Earth's sister planet due the their similar size and mass.Venus is the second brightest object in the night sky after the Moon.A day on the surface of Venus (solar day) would appear to take 117 Earth days.
