In 1829, the first boat races involving Oxford and Cambridge universities.

The general rules of rowing are:

 Interference and/or buoy penalties are assigned

Any boats disregarding safety rules will have penalties

Fours and eights must have their Steersman on board 

The maximum players are 8 players.

The teams do not have a time limit for finishing the race.

The scoring is who ever comes in first is the winner.

Rowing's field dimensions are aquatic areas.

The basic strategy for rowing is all members on the boat must all put their oars in at the same time so it does not create friction on the water and slows the boat down.
