Golf in Wales.

Golf was originated in Great Britain in the 1880's. It is played by using a golf club and trying to hit the ball into the hole. 1 person can play Golf during the time of the game. The length of an 18 hole game is about 4 hours. Every time you swing (stroke) it counts as a point. The goal is to get the least points. An 18 hole course would be about 75 to 100 acres.  A penalty is when an additional stoke is added to a player's score.  The golfer can carry up to 14 golf clubs, golf balls, and tees to hit off of. Golf tournaments at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, are scheduled to be held in August at the new Olympic golf course. Back then you would have been using clubs with long wooden heads and wooden handle, and hitting extremely expensive balls called featheries  made from leather stitched together and stuffed with goose feathers. Now metal-headed woods with graphite handles, hybrid clubs and two-piece surlyn balls that don't cut.
